My Story

MY LIFETIME COMMITMENT AS MOGAJI ILE NLA

My goal in life is simple, and my path has been chosen for me. Since my ascension as Mogaji of Ile Nla and my deepening exposure to the interior parts of Ibadan, I have made it my lifelong mission to liberate my people from both life and mental poverty. This is not a task I take lightly; it is a calling, one that defines my existence and purpose. My mission is rooted in empowerment—ensuring my people are equipped with the tools and opportunities to thrive within their own means. It breaks my heart to witness the level of deterioration in our society, a decay that has left so many trapped in cycles of deprivation.

I have started this journey, and I will not stop. I cannot stop! My title as Mogaji is for life, and so too is my commitment to the people of Ile Nla and the Agboles of Ibadan. This role is not a privilege for selfish gains; it is not a platform for accumulating wealth and power while presiding over a community of underserved people. It is not an avenue to flaunt a crowd of sycophants who hail me for the crumbs I might leave behind. Instead, this position is an opportunity to create meaningful, sustainable, and transformative change. It is a chance to rewrite the narrative of our communities, to bring hope, dignity, and progress to those who have been left behind.

I am calling on all who share this vision of a better society to join me on this journey. Together, we can build a future where every individual has the chance to succeed, where development reaches the corners often forgotten, and where true equity and opportunity prevail. The work is daunting, but the reward is immeasurable—a thriving community, a stronger Ibadan, and a legacy of empowerment for generations to come. Join me if you can. Let us walk this path together.
